Southampton Beat Floundering Chelsea

English Premier League
Result: Chelsea 1-3 Southampton
Date: 3 October 2015
Venue: Stamford Bridge
Chelsea's frustrations continued on Saturday as they were beaten 3-1 at home by Southampton in the English Premier League.
Jose Mourinho's charges were off to a perfect start as they took the lead after only 10 minutes. Willian provided the moment of brilliance as he curled a free kick into the back of the net at the far post.
The Saints threatened to equalise in the 42nd minute when former Chelsea left-back Ryan Bertrand was put through by Sadio Mane and forced a fantastic save from Asmir Begovic.
Two minutes before the break the visitors deservedly levelled matters when Graziano Pelle chested the ball down on the edge of the area, setting it up for Steven Davis who fired into the bottom corner of the goal.
Southampton were on the front foot just after the interval as Tadic powered down the left flank before squaring for Mane who tried to poke it home from close range only to be denied by Begovic.
The traveling side took the lead for the first time on the hour mark. Tim Cahill lost the ball in the middle of the park which allowed Pelle to tee up Mane who beat John Terry before sliding the finish underneath Begovic.
Mane continued terrorising the Blues in the 72nd minute as he burst through midfield before setting it up for Pelle to net the visitors' third and clinch a massive three points for Southampton.
