Result: Burnley 1-2 Chelsea

Venue: Turf Moor
Chelsea kept their Premier League top-four hopes alive after defeating high-flying Burnley 2-1 at Turf Moor on Thursday evening.
Antonio Conte opted to start both Alvaro Morata and Oliver Giroud, while Tiémoué Bakayoko was given a go from the off for the Clarets.
Morata went close to breaking the deadlock after 11 minutes but his low strike was deflected away by goalkeeper Nick Pope.
The Blues then took the lead in the 19th minute when Victor Moses' cross was turned into the net by Burnley's Kevin Long for an own goal.
The hosts showed a lot more attacking intent as the half went on, although they struggled to carve out a clear-cut opening or force Thibaut Cortouis into any saves.
Ten minutes into the second half, Morata should have doubled Chelsea's lead when he was left one-on-one with Pope, but he somehow slotted wide from close range.
Chelsea looked like they would be made to rue that miss as Burnley leveled matters in the 64th minute when Johann Gudmundsson's long-range effort was deflected in by Ashley Barnes.
However, Burnley's joy was short-lived as Chelsea restored their lead five minutes later as Emerson's cross found Moses, who drilled a low effort past Pope.
Conte introduced Eden Hazard for the remaining stages of the second half, with the wasteful Morata making way.
The Blues went in search for a third goal, with Hazard seeing most of the ball, although Burnley remained firm to deny the visitors another goal, but were themselves unable to find the net again as the Londoners claimed the points.
