Arsenal superstar Mesut Ozil, who is yet to sign a new deal at the club, bagged a goal and an assist to lead the Gunners to a 3-0 win over West Ham United.
After a quiet start, the Hammers had the first meaningful chance of the game after 15 minutes when Mark Noble fired just wide of the upright from 25-yards out.
The home side should have opened the scoring after 24 minutes when Alexis Sanchez picked out Danny Welbeck, who failed to hit the target from close range.
The Gunners continued to dominate as the half went on, but the likes of Theo Walcott and Welbeck squandered a couple more chances.
Darren Randolph came to West Ham's rescue just before the halftime break, as he did well to keep out Welbeck's close range header.
Arsenal eventually broke the deadlock in the 58th minute as Ozil was afforded time and space to curl the ball into the far corner from the edge of the box, 1-0.
The lead was doubled in the 68th minute as Ozil turned provider to pick out Walcott, who side-footed home from 12-yards out.
Arsene Wenger introduced Olivier Giroud after 74 minutes and his impact was immediate, as the Frenchman got Arsenal's third in the 83rd minute with a curling effort from close range.
The hosts managed to see out the closing stages of the second half, as they moved up to fifth spot, with Manchester United dropping to sixth.
