Goals from Laurent Koscienly and Theo Walcott handed Arsenal a 2-1 win over Leicester City in an English Premier League match at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.
The win lifts Arsenal above both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United into fourth place on 45 points and only behind third placed Southampton on goal difference.
Koscienly opened the scoring for Arsenal in the 27th minute after he powered home a corner-kick from Mesut Ozil with a powerful volley, 1-0.
Walcott doubled the Gunners lead five minutes before the break when he was quickest to react after the keeper spilled a shot from Ozil and he made no mistake with an easy tap-in, 2-0.
Leicester produced a better showing in the second half and managed to pull a goal back on the hour mark when Andrej Kramaric toe-poked the ball home following a goalmouth scramble inside the Arsenal box, 2-1.
That set up a frantic final half hour, but Arsenal managed to hold onto the lead for their 13th win of the season while Leicester remain rooted to the bottom of the table with 17 points.
