Aubameyang Shines As Arsenal Relegate Watford

Arsenal 3-2 Watford

Watford were relegated to the Championship after losing to Arsenal in a five-goal thriller at the Emirates Stadium.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted a first-half brace, with Kieran Tierney scoring in between to give the Gunners a 3-1 lead going to the break.

Troy Deeney netted a penalty late in the first stanza gave the Hornets hope before Danny Welbeck brought the visitors back into the game in the 66th minute, but they could not find the equaliser and they were relegated after Aston Villa got a point against West Ham United.

Bournemouth's five-year stay in the Premier League came to an end, despite their a 3-1 win over Everton at Goodison Park.

Joshua King, Dominic Solanke and Junior Stanislas were on target for the Cherries while Moise Kean scored what proved to be a consolation goal for the Toffees.

Southampton 3-1 Sheffield United

Southampton finished their season on a good note after thrashing Sheffield United 3-1 thanks to a brace by Che Adams at St. Mary's Stadium.

Adams scored his two goals in the second stanza while Danny Ings put the game beyond doubt for the Saints with the third goal in the last six minutes. John Lundstram's opener proved to be only the consolation goal for Sheffield.

West Ham United 1-1 Aston Villa

Aston Villa survived relegation thanks to a 1-1 draw against West Ham United at the Olympic Stadium.

After the first stanza did not produce any goals, Jack Grealish broke the deadlock for Villa in the last six minutes

However, Andriy Yarmolenko secured the visitors a point a minute later as Moyes' men ended the season in 16th spot.

Burnley 1-2 Brighton and Hove Albion

Brighton and Hove Albion ended their campaign on a high with a 2-1 win over Burnley at Turf Moor.

Yves Bissouma got the opener for Brighton while Chris Wood levelled matters for the hosts just before the break.

Aaron Connolly gave the Seagulls a 2-1 lead six minutes from the break, while Burnley could have equalised but had a goal disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee three minutes later after Jay Rodriguez had scored.
