With Newcastle United being linked with a number of big names, Real Madrid forward Eden Hazard has been urged to make a return to the Premier League.
The Belgian winger has endured a torrid time in the Spanish capital since securing his move from Chelsea in 2019 for a reported fee of €100 million.
A number of injuries have limited Hazard to just 40 LaLiga appearances in the past two years, while he has also fallen down the pecking order under Carlo Ancelotti this season.
With the attacker having been linked with an exit from the Santiago Bernabeu as a result, former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere feels Hazard would enjoy working with new Magpies manager Eddie Howe, who took over from Steve Bruce this week.
"He [Howe] was great with me [at Bournemouth], because it was tough for me there because I was coming from a big club," Wilshere told talkSPORT.
"I stepped into a group that had been together since they were in League One, they were all friends. They were all great with me, but Eddie made sure they were. He was great with me.
"Eden Hazard is another level, but I think Eden would love playing for a manager like Eddie Howe [at Newcastle]. He's the type of manager you want to play for."
