It appears that Eden Hazard may have played his last game in the Premier League, with the Chelsea superstar revealing that he has already made a decision about his future in the wake of rumours linking him with a move to Real Madrid.
Hazard has been the subject of reported interest from Zinedine Zidane's Los Blancos, who are said to have been in talks with 28-year-old for over a month now in a bid to lure him to the Santiago Bernabeu.
According to Standard Sport, the negotiations have hit a snag, with Real having grown increasingly frustrated about the Blues' refusal to budge on valuation of the player
With Hazard only having one year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge, it is believed Chelsea are demanding in the excess of £100 million (R1.86 billion)for the club's 2018/19 Player of the Year, who reportedly has no intention of penning an extension.
Speaking after his side's 0-0 draw with Leicester City on Sunday, Hazard revealed that he has made his "decision" on his future.
"Yes, I have made my decision (on his future) but it is not just about me," he told Standard Sport.
"Would I have liked it to be cleared up earlier in the season? Yes, I wanted that but that's not happened. I'm still waiting like you are waiting and the fans are waiting."
When asked if he had met with the club and informed them of his decision, he replied: "Yes. A couple of weeks ago."
When pressed further on whether or not Chelsea securing a spot in next season's UEFA Champions League had changed his mind regarding his future, Hazard stated: "No. I don't think so. I have made my decision, that's it. I'm still waiting."
"When you are on the pitch, you try to be focused on the pitch with the ball. That's it. When I am on the pitch, I just try to do the best.
"I am not thinking about this and this, my situation or the club's situation. I just try to win games."
Hazard is currently the top assists provider in Europe's top five leagues having registered 15 assists, two more than Lionel Messi, and also managed to find the back of the net on 16 occasions in 37 EPL games this season.
