Eden Hazard says that Chelsea can go on to win the Champions League, following their Capitol One Cup final victory on Sunday.
The Belgian, who has been in superb form this season, says that at Chelsea you are expected to win titles, and is hoping to go far in the Champions League, though he is not getting carried away yet.
“When you play for Chelsea you have to win trophies and get to the semi-final or final of the Champions League,” he told Sky Sports.
“The first game against PSG was good for us. But the tie is not finished and we need to win.
“How far can we go? I hope we can get to the final. We will see. First, we must concentrate on out next game against West Ham."
Although the 24-year-old has big dreams for his side, he said that they can now put their focus back on the Premier league, where they currently sit at the top with a five point lead, and have a game in hand – adding the Liverpool’s win over second-placed Manchester City gives them great confidence.
“By winning this trophy, we can concentrate on the league 100 per cent,” he added.
“Before the game we didn't feel pressure or think about the Liverpool-Man City game. Of course, when you see the result and that Liverpool won, it is very good for the confidence."
Hazard has been a key figure in Chelsea’s attack, scoring 13 goals and assisting 13 for his teammates in 39 appearances.
