Didier Drogba: Why Manchester United Boss Jose Mourinho Attacks Paul Pogba
Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has weighed in on the apparent relationship troubles between Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho and superstar Paul Pogba.
The Portuguese boss and the France international are rumoured to be at loggerheads, and there is speculation the midfielder is ready to quit Old Trafford as he apparently feels he cannot perform under his current conditions.
However, Drogba, who played under Mourinho in two spells at Chelsea, has now given his take on how the tactician likes to work with certain players, and explained that he thinks there is no real rift between the midfielder and his manager as a result.
"It's been hot between us (Drogba and Mourinho)," Drogba said, according to ESPN.
"But Jose is never going to attack people he does not like. He likes Paul a lot.
"That's why he's given him a lot of responsibilities."
