De Gea Linked With Shock Move?
David De Gea Linked With Shock Move?
Reports coming out of Europe suggest that Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea could be in line for a shock move to one of the continent's big spenders.
According to French publication Le10 Sport, Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing the Spain international next season.
The 26-year-old, who has been linked with Real Madrid a few times before, could be the Parisians' next big-money buy, but it is unlikely that Red devils' Jose Mourinho will want to see him leave.
Kevin Trapp and Alphonse Areola, PSG's current main shot-stoppers, have failed to impress the club's chiefs with their performances, and are expected to be replaced at the end of this campaign.
Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak has also been linked with the French giants, but is considered an alternative should De Gea decide not to leave Old Trafford for the Parc des Princes.
Securing the Slovenian international's signature would also come at a hefty price as the Rojiblancos inserted a €100 million (R1.61 billion) release clause into the 24-year-old's contract.
Do you think PSG will become an even stronger side if they sign De Gea or Oblak? Have your say in the comments section below.
