Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, who is seemingly constantly being linked with Real Madrid, has now commented on his Old Trafford future.
‘Man Utd Star Should Not Worry About Sanchez’s Arrival’
Reports in Spain suggested that Los Blancos would make a bid for the former Atletico Madrid star this season, but there appears to have been no contact between the Red Devils and the Madrid club since his collapsed transfer a few years back.
De Gea sat down with Premier League Productions to reflect on his time with United, and revealed that he is very happy at the English giants.
"Yeah, time flies by, doesn't it?" De Gea said on the Premier League Productions show.
"When you think I'm in my seventh season now, I'm really, really happy with all my time here. A lot has happened, you know, mostly all really good. One or two things not quite so good, but I'm very happy.
"I came here as a kid and I'm a man now, both on and off the field. From a football point of view and in my own life as well. Looking back, it's been seven fantastic years."
