Cult Hero's Liverpool Exit 'Confirmed'

A Liverpool cult hero is "definitely leaving" the 2021/22 FA Cup winners at the end of the season, and already has his next club lined up.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Divock Origi will depart Anfield as a free agent in June and sign for Serie A leaders AC Milan.

While the 27-year-old has never been a regular starter for Jurgen Klopp in England, his knack of scoring important goals has earned him cult hero status with the Merseyside giants.

The Belgium international joined Liverpool from French side Lille in 2014, and has since found the back of the net on 41 occasions in 175 matches across all competitions for the Reds.

Origi has claimed six trophies with the Merseysiders so far, and could depart with two more should Klopp's men complete an unprecedented quadruple by winning the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League titles before the end of the month.
