Alvaro Morata started the season in fine form after making the switch from Real Madrid, but the goals have dried up for the Spain international.

The striker has relegated to a bench in recent matches, with his last goal coming on Boxing Day against Brighton and Hove Albion.

However, Conte says Morata needs to work harder if he wants to recover his form and starting spot.

"He has to work and to recover the best form after an injury in his back," Conte told reporters, according to FourFourTwo.

"He has to work and have patience and we must have patience. But the only way is to work."

Morata has made 35 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring 12 goals in the process.
