Chelsea moved up to third in the Premier League after thrashing Sheffield United 4-1 on Saturday evening.
The Blues made only one change from the win over Rennes, as Mateo Kovacic replaced Jorginho in the line-up while Sheffield were bolstered by the return of John Lundstram, Oliver Norwood and David McGoldrick.
The Blades drew first blood in the ninth minute after McGoldrick diverted Sander Berge's shot past Eduoard Mendy for his second league goal of the season.
Tammy Abraham levelled matters for Chelsea in the 23rd minute with a strike from the centre of the box after a pull back by Kovacic.
Ben Chilwell put Frank Lampard's troops ahead 11 minutes before the break with a close range header at the back post after a well-weighted cross by Hakim Ziyech.
The Blues were in control of the match in the early exchanges of the first stanza, denying Sheffield any moment to attack by keeping the ball and fashioning chances in their own half but not yet getting clear opportunities.
Thiago Silva eventually put the game to bed for Chelsea in the last 13 minutes with a glancing header inside the box after a free-kick by Ziyech near the corner flag.
The hosts were running riot, as Timo Werner added a fourth goal three minutes later with a first-time finish inside the box after a through ball by N'Golo Kante .
In the end, 4-1 was how the encounter finished as Lampard's charges climb up to third spot while Sheffield remain rooted to the bottom without a win to their name this campaign.
