As speculation over his future continues, a Chelsea star appears to have hinted that he would like to move to Real Madrid.
Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who is currently at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, has been heavily linked with Los Blancos in recent months, with many expecting him to replace Costa Rica No. 1 Keylor Navas at the Santiago Bernabeu.
In a recent interview, the 26-year-old revealed that if he does leave the Blues in this transfer window, it would be to a "preferred destination".
"I have a certain preferred destination," Courtois said, according to the Daily Mirror.
"I have some ideas in my mind, but I am focusing on the World Cup and have pushed all decisions ahead until after the tournament.
"My kids are the most important for me. I have not seen them a lot in the last 18 months. FaceTime is nice, but seeing them grow up is something different. My kids will play an important role in my decision."
Courtois has two children – Adriana, aged two, and Nicolas, aged one – with his former partner Marta Dominguez, who lives in Madrid, Spain, and it is rumoured that he would like to be closer to them.
The goalkeeper made 46 appearances for the Stamford Bridge club last season, keeping 19 clean sheets.
