Following Manchester United’s scrappy 1-0 win over Burnley on Tuesday night to go top of the Premier League, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed what needed to happen at half-time.

A second-half goal from Paul Pogba earned United all three points at Turf Moor, but not before a few controversial incidents involving the referee and the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
United felt they should have gone into the break ahead following a towering Harry Maguire header that was quickly disallowed, with Solskjaer admitting that he needed to calm his players down in the dressing room.
"You've got to calm them down at half-time because emotions are running high because they disagree with the things that happen out there," he told Sky Sports.
"So, we have to take back control and we played really well in the second half and we held out at the end."
The Norwegian then gave his verdict on some of the refereeing decisions, noting he was thrilled with the response from his side.
"I've not watched any of the decisions so I can't really say. Might've been a foul by Luke (Shaw) apparently so that's probably the right decision, definitely not a foul for Harry for his goal," he added.
"If you can't jump and head it in like this… I don't believe that's anywhere near a foul. Delighted with the response after a bit of a tough first half-hour."
Solskjaer Makes Big January Signing Claim
Solskjaer also reserved special praise for Pogba, who was named Man of the Match after scoring the only goal in the Premier League clash.
"I've always said Paul is a big player for us, he's a good character in the dressing room, he's someone the lads look to, he's a world champion," he continued.
"We're seeing the best of Paul at the moment – he's been injured and he's had Covid so it's natural to need to get back to fitness after that."
