It is widely claimed across England that Ake's move to City is edging closer, with it being understood that relegated Bournemouth accepted an offer from the Citizens for the Dutch international on Thursday.
The 25-year-old has emerged as a target for several clubs across England following his side's relegation to the English Championship last weekend.
Ake has a lot of experience in the Premier League despite his young age, having played 146 matches for Chelsea, Watford and Bournemouth.
