A Brazil international has admitted that he would like to return to his former club Chelsea at some point in the future.

Conte Challenges Chelsea Star To Work Harder

Jiangsu Suning midfielder Ramires left Stamford Bridge in January 2016 for a reported fee of £25 million (R412 million), signing a four-year contract with the Chinese Super League side.

The 30-year-old, who calls the reigning Premier League champions his "second home", spent some time at the Blues in November when he used the club's Cobham Training Centre as a base to recover following a severe knee injury.

"They're the team I will always have a special affection for and where I still have the desire to play before finishing my career," Ramires told UOL Esporte.

"I was recently treating an injury I had at the club and I can say that, without a doubt, it's like my second home there.

"I know the doors at Stamford Bridge will always be open for me and going back to wear the shirt of that club one day would be amazing."

Ramires has made 70 appearances for the Chinese outfit since joining them, scoring 16 goals and assisting a further 11 strikes.
