FC Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta has reserved some special praise for one of Real Madrid's newest signings, labelling him 'one of the most gifted players in the world right now'.
Los Blancos have bolstered their squad significantly this off-season, although one player has seemingly been bought for the future.
Takefusa Kubo joined the Spanish of a six-year deal and will play for the Real's Castilla's side in the upcoming season.
Iniesta, who currently plays in Japan, had high praise for Real's new signing, having played against him in the J-League.
"I know Kubo from having payed against him last season. We're talking about a player with immense talent and a great future ahead of him. He is one of the most gifted players in the world right now and I'm not surprised he's with a big club," Iniesta was quoted as saying by Marca.
The 18-year-old was previously part of Barcelona's academy for four years, but left the club in 2015.
When asked if Barca will regret letting him go, Iniesta added,"Time will tell. I suppose Barça didn't want him or things didn't turn out the way they planned but Barcelona is above any one player."
