With Chile international Alexis Sanchez expected to leave Arsenal in the coming months, the London club is reportedly eyeing a certain Real Madrid star to replace him.
The Chile international is out of contract at the end of the season, and could leave the 2016/17 FA Cup winners on a free transfer at the end of the campaign or for a reduced fee in January.
According to Spanish publication Diario Gol, the Gunners have identified France international Karim Benzema as Sanchez's replacement at the Emirates.
The report stated that Real president Florentino Perez is keen on the idea of selling the former Lyon star to the Premier League outfit.
The Spanish giants are apparently frustrated with the striker, and are now ready to sell him to prominent suitors.
