A new report suggests that an Arsenal star is surprisingly being monitored by London rivals Chelsea in this transfer window.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Blues are considering making a bid for Wales international Aaron Ramsey in the next few days.
The Arsenal midfielder, who is in the last year of his current contract, has reportedly been offered a new five-year deal at the Emirates, but is yet to put pen to paper.
The 27-year-old, who joined the Gunners from his boyhood club Cardiff City in 2008, cost the north London side £5 million (R86 million) at the time.
New Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is apparently considering moving on one or two of his current players as he looks at the possibility of including Ramsey into his set-up.
The Stamford Bridge side is said to be happy to sell England international Danny Drinkwater and loan out former Monaco star Tiemoue Bakayoko to free up funds and spots in the squad.
Ramsey has made 331 appearances for the Gunners so far, scoring 59 goals and assisting a further 57 strikes.
