Arsenal's interest in one of Europe's most in-form strikers at the moment has been confirmed by the player's agent.
According to reports in England, Arsenal are lining up a move for Racing Genk star Leandro Trossard as they look to bolster their attack.
The Belgian forward has been in impressive form Genk this season, having netted 11 goals in 19 appearances.
However, Trossard's agent Josy Comhair,has since confirmed the Gunners' interest, but revealed the player will not be moving in January.
"I contacted representatives from Arsenal and Tottenham. At Spurs, nobody wanted to confirm that Trossard is an option, but Arsenal did," Comhair was quoted as saying by the Mirror.
"They told me Leandro has a very interesting profile for them and that they’ve been following him since August.
“They also added it was a good choice to stay at Genk for another year. They ended the phone call with ‘They are keeping a close eye on him’.”
