French legend Thierry Henry has explained where he believes Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante is more effective than Manchester United's Paul Pogba.

The 10 Highest Paid Midfielders In The EPL Update

The Red Devils midfielder has been struggling in recent weeks, and former Arsenal and FC Barcelona forward Thierry Henry has now given his opinion on where he believes the 24-year-old should be utilised.

Henry feels Pogba should play higher up the pitch than he currently is, as he cannot offer the same defensive qualities that Chelsea’s Kante can.

"When he is on the ball he can have an amazing impact on the game," he said on Sky Sports.

"Can he do a job?

"Yes he can do a job, but is he N’Golo Kante? No.

"Kante senses dangers and knows where the ball is going to be. But he has that in his DNA.

"Paul Pogba has more in his DNA to be up there, create, and try to do some skills like we saw against Everton."

Pogba has recently found himself being substituted by Jose Mourinho, while he was even named on the bench against Huddersfield two match days ago.
