Argentine shot-stopper Emiliano Martinez will be joining Aston Villa on a permanent deal after spending 10 years with the Gunners.
The 28-year-old played 11 games for Arsenal last season, and starred in the club's 2020 Community Shield penalty shootout win over Liverpool last month.
Martinez never cemented his place as No. 1 at the London club, having gone on six loan spells during his time at the Emirates, and in total made just 39 first-team appearance.
"Everyone at Arsenal thanks Emi for his contribution to the club over the past 10 years and we wish him all the best for the future. The transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory processes," a statement on the club's official website read.
The player told Arsenal.com: "Thank you, thank you for all of the years (of support). I thank God for having the opportunity over the past few months to show the Arsenal fanbase what I am made of, and why I went on loan so many times.
"It was always to come back and win them trophies and give them silverware. I did it, I feel prouder than ever.

"They made me as a goalkeeper; not just the club, not just my goalkeeping coaches, but the fans as well because they supported me, gave me the confidence to perform as well, and I wish them all the best and hope they win many, many trophies. Thank you. That's all I can say."
