African superstar Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was visibly angry after being taken off in Arsenal's game against Newcastle United on the weekend, and manager Unai Emery has now commented on the player's reaction.
After starting the season with back-to-back losses, the Gunners have now recorded three straight wins following their 2-1 success over the Magpies this past weekend.
Aubameyang, who did not get on the scoresheet, was hauled off after 69 minutes, and he expressed his anger after being taken off, something Emery has no problem with.
"It's normal," Emery said when asked about Aubameyang's reaction, according to the Daily Mirror.
"I want the players I change or don't start in the first XI to be angry, they have ambition to play and help the team and stay on the pitch.
"For me, it’s a normal situation."
