Manager Louis van Gaal refused to answer any questions regarding Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney after Sunday's Manchester derby draw.
Manchester Derby Ends In Stalemate
The Englishman, who started up top as the Red Devils' main striker, was virtually anonymous throughout the match against City.
It wasn't the first game Rooney has gone missing in this season and when Van Gaal was asked to rate his captain's performance on Sunday, he was visibly irritated.
"I have to talk every week about Rooney, why?" he told the Daily Mail.
When put to him that it was because the United captain is one of his team's star players, the Dutchman responded in a curt manner, refusing to answer any more questions about his No. 10.
"Then you have to write it down. It is your opinion," he retorted.
"I don't give any more answers about Wayne Rooney because I am sick of them."
Van Gaal did, however, speak about referee Mark Clattenburg's decision not to award the Red Devils a penalty in the second half, when Raheem Sterling brought down Ander Herrera in the box.
"I have seen on the video that it was a penalty, but the referee was not giving us that benefit and, of course, it is difficult to see," the Dutch tactician said.
"I can see it clearly on the video that he doesn't touch the ball but the legs of Herrera. That luck with decisions we don't have this season, but I can imagine it is very difficult for the referee, so it is not a big issue."

The draw saw United drop two places into fourth position on the log, while Manchester City remained in top spot.
