African Included In Pep Guardiola's Pre-Season Plans
An African attacker has reportedly been included in Pep Guardiola's pre-season plans at Manchester City.
According to global online newspaper Breaking Times, Nigeria forward Kelechi Iheanacho has been named in the Citizens' pre-season side, despite reports stating he could be leaving the club.
The 20-year-old has been in City's senior squad since impressing on a pre-season tour three years ago, but with Guardiola bolstering his side ahead of next season, Iheanacho could be one of the players to depart.
The striker did not feature much under the Spaniard last season, despite holding a decent scoring record of 21 goals in 64 appearances for the club.
Iheanacho has been heavily tipped to leave in this transfer window, with West Ham United said to be one of the clubs after his signature.
The likes of Joe Hart, Wilfred Bony, Samir Nasri, Eliaquim Mangala and Jason Denayer are all expected to be snubbed for Guardiola's pre-season squad that will tour the US.
