The Premier League giants have won all four league games plus their FA Cup fixture since Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho.
The former United striker has been appointed as interim manager until the end of the season when the club's bosses want to announce a permanent solution.
However, Solskjaer will reportedly have a say in the club’s transfer plans with contracts of eight players currently expiring by the end of the 2018/19 campaign.
The Sun reports that the views of the Norwegian coach will be taken into account when discussing potential new deals for the players.
United reportedly already exercised their automatic extension on David De Gea’s contract, while it is believed that they will do the same to Anthony Martial’s expiring deal.
The club wants to keep hold of both stars, but contract talks over long-term extensions have stalled recently. Other players with expiring deals, but likely to be on the axe list are right-back Matteo Darmian as well as midfielder Andreas Pereira.
Meanwhile, Juan Mata, Phil Jones, and Ander Herrera are expected to be offered new deals. The future of ageing duo Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young, who are both 33 already, is understood to be up in the air.
