Jose Mourinho has improved United's team since his arrival last year, with the likes of Pogba, Ibrahimovic, Lukaku, Nemanja Matic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan all being lured to the club.
However, according to Manchester Evening News, executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward could have his work cut out for him as there are nine senior United players whose deals will come to an end in 2018.
The biggest names among these players are arguably Juan Mata and Ander Herrera, as well as senior team regulars Marouane Fellaini and Daley Blind.
English midfielder Ashley Young will also reportedly see his contract expire at the end of this season, and the same can be said of veteran midfielder Michael Carrick, goalkeeper Sam Johnstone and left back Luke Shaw.
However, according to MEN, only Mata, Carrick and Fellaini do not have an option of an additional year in their deals, while the rest do. This means the aforementioned three players will need to sign new contracts if they are to remain United players after this season.
