Most of the windows in Europe close on 31 August, while the Asian markets shut even later. This will allow foreign clubs to bid for players in England, a situation that is expected to cause a few issues for managers and owners.
Chelsea could see two players exit in the coming weeks as they are unlikely to get much first-team football. According to the Daily Mirror, Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi and former Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko are expected to be loaned out, and the talk is Valencia and AC Milan, respectively, are interested in the two stars.
Italy international Matteo Darmian was expected to leave Manchester United in the transfer window, but according to Jose Mourinho, the club did not get a suitable offer for him. The right-back is still likely to go out on loan, though, and has been linked with Inter Milan, Napoli and Juventus.
Merseyside outfit Everton made a number of signings in the window, and could be looking to get rid of a few players. Winger Yannick Bolasie, who has struggled with injuries of late, could be loaned out or sold to Championship side Middlesbrough.
Tottenham Hotspur left-back Danny Rose was heavily linked with Manchester United last season, and although the move did not pan out, he is still expected to leave the London side. Rose, who wants regular first-team football, is apparently being chased by Schalke and Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.
