It remains to be seen who will be in charge of United next season, but whether it is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Mauricio Pochettino or someone else, the club will, without a doubt, look to challenge for the Premier League title once again.
As per the London Evening Standard, Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly is a player the Red Devils could go all out for in order to strengthen their defence, although he would not come cheaply. The Senegalese international is reportedly valued at about £100 million (R1.7 billion) by his club.
United have also been linked with Catalan club superstar Philippe Coutinho, who has struggled at the Camp Nou in recent months. Barca fans seem to be losing patience with the Brazilian, although it is understood that the Blaugrana are not looking to sell him just yet.
Juventus' Douglas Costa features in the gallery too, as does Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Jadon Sancho. The 18-year-old is one of the brightest talents in world football at the moment, and is said to be widely sought after.
Joao Felix, 19, is another reported target. The Benfica teenager has been touted as the "next Cristiano Ronaldo", with many believing he is one of the most promising Portuguese talents since the Juventus man himself.
