The likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Everton all brought in numerous new faces at the beginning of the season and English publication the Daily Star has named their top 10 signings of the campaign so far.
Liverpool's Mohamed Salah has arguably been the top pick of the new signings this season. The Egyptian international joined the Reds from Serie A side Roma and cost the Merseyside club £37 million (R669 million). The winger is currently the top goalscorer in the EPL at the moment too, with 12 league strikes to his name.
Even though his form has dipped slightly, Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku is another player who has impressed at his new club. The Belgian joined the Red Devils from Everton for a hefty fee of £75 million (R1.35 billion), and has scored 12 goals for the Manchester club so far, eight of them coming in the English top flight.
Chelsea's signing of Alvaro Morata has also proved a good piece of business. The Spaniard cost the London outfit £55 million (R995.6 million) from Real Madrid, but has gone on to fill the void left by Diego Costa.
The bargain of the past window must be the £11 million (R199 million) Watford paid for forward Richarlison. The Brazilian has impressed since joining from Fluminense, scoring five goals and assisting a further four strikes so far.
