Los Blancos defeated the Catalan giants at the Santiago Bernabeu in a heated 2-0 win, after second-half goals from Vinicius and substitute Mariano Diaz.
Following his strike, Real’s Vinicius became the youngest goalscorer in El Clasico in the 21st century, beating the previous record set by Barca’s No. 10.
Messi was 19 years and 259 days old when he first scored against Real, but the young Brazilian forward has beaten his record by 26 days.
The former Flamengo starlet has now contributed to seven goals in 27 matches this season for Zinedine Zidane’s side.
