Soccer Laduma rates the performances of the players following Real Madrid's come-from-behind victory against Barcelona on Saturday night.
Player Ratings: Barcelona v Real Madrid
Claudio Bravo: 6
Despite conceding two goals on the night, the Chilean did not have much to do other than pick the ball out the back of his net.
Dani Alves: 5
Had a productive first half, he impressed going forward and was solid at the back. However, he was at fault for Real's winning goal.
Gerard Pique: 6
Put in a solid performance in the opening half and got on the score-sheet, but he left Benzema un-marked for the equalising goal.
Javier Mascherano: 5
Made a few rash tackles around the final third, although Barcelona weren't punished for those errors.
Jordi Alba: 5
Gave Bale a lot of space in the first half, as he pushed up high and was nowhere to be seen for both of Real's goals, with both crosses coming from his flank.
Sergio Busquets: 6
Battled hard in the middle of the park and showed great composure in a number of pressure situations.
Ivan Rakitic: 5
Not the best of games for the Croatian and he was eventually replaced by Arda Turan in the second half.
Andres Iniesta: 6
Iniesta popped up in patches on the night and was not consistent enough to have a bigger effect on the game.
Lionel Messi: 5
The Argentine still troubled the Real defence but he looked a bit off the pace in the final third and only threatened Navas once.
Looked like Barcelona's best attacking threat in the first half and troubled Carvajal throughout the evening.
Luis Suárez: 5
Squandered a glorious chance in the first half to hand his side the lead and was frustrated by the likes of Pepe and Ramos for the rest of the encounter.
Arda Turan: NA
Introduced in the 74th minute but failed to make the desired impact.
Keylor Navas: 6
Had a much busier evening than his Barcelona compatriot and pulled off a couple of key saves to keep his side in the lead.
Dani Carvajal: 6
Struggled with the threat of Neymar for most of the game but was disciplined enough to remain on the field, after picking up a yellow card in the first half.
Sergio Ramos: 4
The Los Blancos captain was reckless on a number of occassions and he was lucky not to be sent off in the first half for a challenge on Messi. He eventually received his marching orders in the 83rd minute.
The Portuguese defender was at fault for not picking up Pique for the opening goal but he was solid enough to frustrate Suarez and Messi.
The Brazilian had no issues joining the attack and he played a key role in Los Blancos' equaliser.
The midfielder's inclusion in the side certainly paid off, as Los Blancos were not overrun in the middle as they were in the reverse fixture and the Brazilian can be proud of his display.
Toni Kroos: 6
Kroos was sloppy with the ball in the first half, which did not help the visitors' cause, although he improved in the second half and picked up the assist for Benzema's goal.
Luka Modric: 6
Not the worst of games but not the best either, although he did see a bit more of the ball in the second stanza.
Gareth Bale: 6
The Welshman did not make full use of the space afforded to him for most of the game, but he provided the cross for Ronaldo's winnning goal.
Cristiano Ronaldo: 6.5
With Barcelona dominating, Ronaldo hardly saw the ball in the first half, although that didn't stop him from tracking back. He also popped up with a well-taken goal in the 85th minute.
Karim Benzema: 6
Not the best of showings from the Frenchman, but he redeemed himself with a superb equaliser in the second half.
Jese Rodriguez: NA
Only playe the final 10 minutes but he was involved in the build-up for the winning goal.
Lucas Vazquez: NA
Not on the field long enough to receive rating.
