Up next in our Dates to Remember feature is the Group G battle between Portugal and Ghana in the Brazilian capital, Brasilia.
Date: 26 June
Time: 18:00 (SA time)
Stadium: Estadio Nacional
Portugal and Ghana will face off on the final match-day of the group stages in Group G, which many have labeled the "Group of Death."
With the USA and Germany completing the group, the two qualification spots will be tightly contested, and the group may well be decided on this final day.
Ghana and Portugal have never played against each other before, though both clubs have been World Cup regulars in recent years.
Ghana made it further than ever before in 2010, reaching the quarter-finals only to lose on pentalty kicks to Uruguay, while Portugal was beaten in the round of 16 by eventual champions Spain.
Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo will be looking to prove that he can perform for his country as well as he performs for his club, Real Madrid, and the pressure may prove dangerous for Ghana.
The Black Stars, however, have been arguably the most successful African side in World Cups of late, and with talents like Michael Essien, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Kwadwo Asamoah and Asamoah Gyan, Ghana will not submit easily to Portugal.
