Defending champions Al Ahly, meanwhile, remain on track to claim a third successive title after overcoming Raja Casablanca with a 3-2 aggregate win.
Pitso Mosimane's charges were the first team to score a goal at Raja's home ground in the Champions League this season as the second leg ended 1-1.
On Saturday, Group A winners Mamelodi Sundowns were eliminated after failing to overturn a first-leg defeat to Petro de Luanda, who advanced to the semi-finals for the first time since 2001.
While Raja were dumped out by Al Ahly, Wydad Casablanca will fly the Moroccan flag as their 0-0 draw in the second leg against CR Belouizdad was enough to seal their spot in the final four in the early hours of Saturday morning.
