Despite the English transfer window being closed, players who play in England's top flight are still able to move to other European leagues whose deadlines are at the end of August or later.
As such, Manchester United's Pogba is still being tipped to leave for Los Blancos, but Zidane has now played down the reports.
"Paul is a Manchester United player and we must respect that," the French tactician said at a press conference on Friday, according to the Metro.
"We are here thinking of tomorrow's game."
Pressed to comment further about the Pogba speculation, the 47-year-old insisted he is content with the squad at his disposal.
"I am happy with my players, thinking only about tomorrow's game," he added.
"The players are the same."
