With the Premier League returning this week, we have had a look at the highest-paid players at each of the 20 clubs. The list is topped by a Manchester United star and includes two Africans.

After the recent transfer window, the league’s previous top earner Alexis Sanchez left England to join Serie A side Inter Milan on loan.
As a consequence, his former United teammate David de Gea has now moved into the top spot. He is believed to earn a massive £375 000 (R6.8 million) before tax per week, according to capology.com.
De Gea is followed by Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne and Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil, who both pocket around £350 000 (R6.3 million) gross per week.
Tottenham Hotspur’s forward Harry Kane and Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah follow with weekly wages of £200 000 (R3.6 million).
Kepa Arrizabalaga is Chelsea’s current top earner with £152 615 (R2.8 million) per week, before Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy, with £140 000 (R2.5 million), and Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha, with £130 000 (R2.35 million) complete the top eight.
Everton winger Bernard is believed to earn £120 000 (R2.2 million), with Burnley’s Danny Drinkwater, who is on loan from Chelsea, Wolverhampton Wanderers' Joao Moutinho and West Ham United’s Jack Wilshere being the other stars to earn at least £100 000 (R1.8 million) per week.
At the bottom of the pile sit Norwich City’s Sam Byram, who is believed to pocket £30 000 (R543 000), and Aston Villa’s Tom Heaton with £42 000 (R760 000) as their club's respective top earners.
