Manager Jose Mourinho has discussed the rumour that he could sign Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale for Tottenham Hotspur in this transfer window.
With the 31-year-old Welshman being linked with an exit from Los Blancos, speculation suggests that he could be on his way back to Tottenham Hotspur.
Bale's agent, Jonathan Barnett, has admitted he and his client are in talks with the Lilywhites, with the only remaining question being whether or not the move would be a loan or permanent.

Mourinho has now broken his silence on his club's links with the four-time UEFA Champions League winner, but did not give much away.
"I tried to sign Gareth Bale for Real Madrid, which was not possible to do during my time there; then he arrived when I left the club," he said, according to the Evening Standard.
"There is no secret on that. Even Gareth knows that. But I'm not going to speak about him anymore because he is a Real player."
