After former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho said a certain Dutchman is the worst manager in the history of the Premier League, the coach in question has now responded to the Portuguese's controversial remarks.
Ex-Crystal Palace boss Frank de Boer criticised the way Mourinho used striker Marcus Rashford during his United tenure.
The Portuguese tactician responded by saying De Boer's record of zero points and zero goals in four matches makes him the worst manager the Premier League has ever seen, before also suggesting that if the Dutchman was Rashford's boss, the player would have been taught how to lose.
A year and a half later, De Boer, who is now in charge of Atlanta United, has struck back, insisting that karma will always come around.
"At that moment, he can say that because it was a really bad record, of course," De Boer told The Guardian.
"For me, if he wants to say that, I'm not the guy who wants to respond to that... I think karma always strikes back."
Mourinho, who is still without a managerial job since being sacked by United this past December, is currently working as a pundit for Sky Sports.
