Borussia Dortmund superstar Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been linked with a move away from the German side several times lately – here is what the player recently had to say about his future.
The Gabon forward is currently one of the hottest properties in European football, and has previously spoken of his desire to play for Spanish giants Real Madrid.
However, the 26-year-old has claimed he is happy in Germany, and is not pushing for a transfer away, as many media agencies have been reporting.
"Dortmund is a city which is totally crazy about football," he told Kicker.
"In the last years, we have the highest average attendance in Europe. The city is safe and my family feels at home.
"I've never made a secret of (the fact that) I would someday like to play for Real Madrid, but I also have not extended my contract at BVB until 2020 without a reason. I feel very good here."
Dortmund, with whom Aubameyang extended his contract last July, are currently five points behind league leaders Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.
The former AC Milan striker has made 40 appearances for BVB this season, scoring 35 goals along the way.
Should the Gabon striker be patient about his future, or should he try to make a big-money move as soon as possible? Have your say in the comments section below.
