Bayern Munich have reportedly contacted a former FC Barcelona manager with regards to their vacant managerial post.
The Bavarian club sacked Italian Carlo Ancelotti following the side's 3-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League last week, and are looking at a few candidates to fill the position.
According to English publication the Daily Express, the Bundesliga giants have made contact with Spaniard Luis Enrique.
The former Blaugrana coach guided the Catalans to their second treble in his first season in charge, and also went on to win back-to-back La Liga crowns.
Former Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel and Hoffenheim's Julian Nagelsmann have also been linked as possible Ancelotti replacements.
Reports out of the Netherlands state that former Manchester United manager Luis van Gaal is also seen as someone who could stabilise the ship, even if it's just until the end of the season.
Bayern currently have assistant manager Willy Sagnol in a caretaker role, but are hoping to announce a permanent replacement soon.
