Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has approved of who Bayern Munich have chosen as their new manager following the sacking of Carlo Ancelotti.

Bayern's new boss is yet to be announced to the public, but Guardiola is said to be well aware of who his former side are ready to appoint.
The German club's president, Uli Hoeness, who was recently spotted meeting up with the Spaniard, has admitted he has informed the former Bavarians manager who they will appoint as their next boss.
"I told him (Guardiola) who we would appoint in the next few days," he told Munich newspaper AZ.
"He was satisfied."
Former Borussia Dortmund tactician Thomas Tuchel and Hoffenheim's Julian Nagelsmann are said to among those linked with the job, while former Bayern manager Louis van Gaal is said to be a strong favourite for the position.
