Bayern Munich manager, Pep Guardiola, has revealed which of his players is considered a football God.
The former Barcelona boss has reserved special praise for the versatile, David Alaba, after the club had previous injury woes over the past two seasons.
Alaba joined the Bavarians in 2008 and has always been known as a left-back for the club, however since Guardiola has taken over, the Austrian has been deployed in various positions.
At the age of 23, the Austrian star has notched up over 100 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit and Guardiola holds the player in a very regard.
“David Alaba is our god. He has already played almost all 10 positions," Guardiola said at his press conference.
Guardiola also gave an update on Franck Ribery's recovery, after the French winger started running once again.
"Franck is longer than that of a hurt knee ligament. His muscles takes time," Guardiola added.
"The important thing is first, that Franck painless trained because he had problems in the past 5.6 months."
