Hoffenheim and Eintracht Frankfurt, played to a 1-1 draw at the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar Arena.
Frankfurt opened the scoring through Kevin-Prince Boateng in the 13th minute, but Mark Uth equalised in stoppage time at the end of the second half to rescue a point.
Mainz 1-0 FC Cologne
Cologne’s dreadful form continued as they lost 1-0 to Mainz.
Daniel Brosinski scored the game’s only goal in the 43rd minute.
Bayer Leverkusen 2-2 RB Leipzig
Bayer Leverkusen twice came from behind to snatch a 2-2 draw against RB Leipzig.
Timo Werner opened the scoring in the 13th minute, but Leon Bailey equalised on the stroke of half-time.
Emil Forsberg put Leipzig back in front in the 54th minute, but Kevin Volland scored 20 minutes later to give Bayer Leverkusen their share of the spoils.
VfL Wolfsburg 3-1 Freiburg
Wolfsburg claimed a comfortable 3-1 win over fellow early strugglers Freiburg.
Yannick Gerhardt opened the scoring in the third minute before Yunus Malli doubled Wolfsburg’s lead in the 29th.
Bartosz Kapustka pulled a goal back in the second half, but Malli scored again just two minutes afterwards to seal the win.
Hertha BSC 2-4 Borussia Mönchengladbach
Borussia Mönchengladbach downed Hertha BSC in a high-scoring game to end off Saturday’s Bundesliga action, moving up to third on the log.
Gladbach went 3-0 up within 20 minutes thanks to goals from Lars Stindl, Thorgan Hazard and Raffael.
Vedad Ibisevic and Mitchell Weiser pulled goals back for Hertha either side of half-time, but Raffael scored again in the 77th minute to seal the win.
