Hannover 2-4 Borussia Dortmund
Bourssia Dortmund maintained their perfect start to the Bundesliga season with a thrilling 4-2 victory over Hannover 96 on Saturday afternoon.
Artur Sobiech handed Hannover the lead after 18 minutes, before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leveled matters from the penalty spot, while Henri Mkhitarian handed Dortmund the lead before the halftime break.
Sobiech then brought the home side level in the 53rd minute, before Dortmund restored their lead via an own goal from Felipe. Aubameyang sealed the win in the 85th minute with his second penalty of the game.
Frankfurt 6-2 FC Koln
Eintracht Frankfurt secured their first win of the season with an emphatic 6-2 thumping of FC Koln on Saturday afternoon.
Alexander Meier opened the scoring in the fourth minute, before Luc Castaignos bagged a quick-fire brace to make it 3-0 to Frankfurt, while Meier also grabbed his second just before the break.
The rout was rounded off by Meier completing his hat-trick, while Haris Seferovic got in on the act in the 73rd minute.
Bayer Leverkusen 0-1 SV Darmstadt 98
Bayer Leverkusen suffered their first home defeat of the campaign, as they went down 1-0 at the hands of SV Darmstadt 98 on Saturday.
The only goal of the game arrived in the eighth minute courtesy of a strike from Aytac Sulu.
Hertha Berlin 2-1 Stuttgart
Hertha Berlin moved up to fifth in the Bundesliga standings, after they secured a 2-1 victory over VFB Stuttgart on Saturday afternoon.
Genki Haraguchi handed Hertha the lead in the 14th minute, before Toni Sunjic leveled matters in the 36th minute for Stuttgart.
However, the winning goal arrived just before the halftime break via a strike from Fabian Lustenberger.
FC Ingolstadt 0-0 Wolfsburg
VFL Wolfsburg were left frustrated after they were held to a goalless draw by FC Ingolstadt in a Bundesliga tie on Saturday afternoon.
