Leipzig Close The Gap On Bayern, Leverkusen Back To Winning Ways

Mainz 2-3 RB Leipzig
RB Leipzig moved 10 points behind Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich, after claiming a 3-2 win over Mainz on Wednesday evening.
Marcel Sabitzer opened the scoring for Mainz in the 48th minute with Timo Werner doubling the lead four minutes later.
Jairo Samperio pulled one goal back for Mainz in the 69th minute but only for Naby Keita to make it 3-1 in the 81st minute to the visitors.
Yashinori Muto reduced the deficit to 3-2 in the referee's optional time but it was too late for Mainz to find the ultimate equaliser.
Augsburg 2-3 Ingolstadt
Almog Cohen guided Ingolstadt to a 3-2 victory over Augsburg, scoring a brace on Wednesday evening.
Sonny Kittel opened the scoring in the 24th minute for Ingolstadt while Cohen grabbed the second goal 10 minutes later.
Cohen made it 3-0 in the 67th minute as the away side went into cruise mode.
Paul Verhaegh pulled one goal back in the 76th minute and Halil Altintop inspired a comeback charge making it 3-2 in the 81st minute, but Ingolstadt held on for the away win.
Darmstadt 0-2 Bayer Leverkusen
Bayer Leverkusen ended their five-game winless run in the league, after registering a 2-0 win over Darmstadt.
Julian Brandt grabbed an early lead in the 15th minute for the visitors, before Kevin Volland sealed the win in the 56th minute.
Borussia M'gladbach 1-0 Hertha Berlin
Leszio Benes handed Borussia M'gladbach a narrow 1-0 win over Hertha Berlin on Wednesday evening.
Benes scored the only goal of the match in the 16th minute, as Hoffenheim leapfrogged Borussia Dortmund into the third spot.
Wolfsburg 0-1 Freiburg
Florian Niederlechner earned Freiburg a 0-1 win over Wolfsburg on Wednesday evening.
Niederlechner broke the deadlock in the 78th minute to hand the home side all three points, which sees them move up to 13th spot.
