Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben were among the goals for Bayern Munich, as they recorded a 3-0 win over Hertha Berlin at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern asserted themselves early on and were rewarded in the 16th minute with the opening through Ribery.
Leading up to the goal there was a penalty appeal after Thiago's cross hit a hand in the box however play went on and David Alaba laid the ball off to Ribery who squeezed his way in getting past challenges before unleashing a powerful drive, 1-0.
Bayern continued to dominate and went into half-time break still leading by an odd goal.
The second-half saw Hertha applying pressure looking for an equaliser, but it was Bayern who extended the lead.
Thiago made it 2-0 in the 68th minute. Allan was caught dallying on the ball and the Spaniard pounced by dispossessing the Liverpool loanee before calmly slotting past Rune Jarstan.
Hertha struggled to deal with Bayern's potent attack and it got worse Robben was introduced shortly after the goal
In his typical manner the Dutchman received a ball in the wide area following a flowing move from Bayern, and he cut inside onto his favoured left foot, bending the ball beyond the helpless keeper, 3-0.
Carlo Ancelotti's charges managed to see out the remaining stages of the game with relative ease, as they maintain top spot in the Bundesliga.
