It was one-way traffic at Stadion im BORUSSIA-PARK on Sunday as Monchengladbach hammered Hertha 5-0 in the Bundesliga.
Thorgan Hazard opened the scoring for the hosts in the 14th minute, and the game was well poised up until the hour mark when the floodgates opened.
Andre Hahn made it 2-0 on the hour, before Patrick Herrmann (76') extended the lead further. Hazard then completed his brace in the 80th minute and Ibrahima Traore (85') capped off the rout with a fifth.
The result sees the hosts move up to fourth position in the standings, three points behind Hertha.
Hoffenheim 1-1 Koln
Simon Zoller's lone strike in the 69th minute gave the visitors the lead, but a stoppage-time equaliser from Kevin Volland salvaged a point for the hosts.
