Borusssia Dortmund moved back up to third spot after recording a 3-2 win over Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday.
Dortmund went ahead through Marco Reus' early penalty before Lars Stindl and a Marcel Schmelzer own put Gladbach 2-1 up.
However, the visitors leveled matters through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before Raphaël Guerreiro scored the winning goal in the 87th minute.
Ingolstadt 2-4 Werder Bremen
Max Kruse stole the show for Werder Bremen as they win over Inglostadt 4-2 on Saturday afternoon.
Kruse opened the scoring in the stroke of half-time only for Dario Lezcano to level matters in the 32nd minute. Pascal Grob scored in the 62nd minute to hand Ingolstadt a 2-1 lead.
However, Kruse hit back with three goals to complete his four-goal haul and securef three points for the hosts.
Eintracht Frankfurt 3 - 1 Augsburg
Marco Fabian scored a brace, while Ante Rebic also score to guide Eintracht Frankfurt to a 3-1 win over Augsburg on Saturday afternoon. Jeffrey Gouweleeuw was on target for Augsburg.

Andre Sulu and Felix Plutte handed Darmstadt a 2-1 victory over Hamburg on Saturday afternoon. Dennis Holland scored an own goal as the visitors grabbed a consolation.
